At Greengo-Hub, we empower communities through education, advocacy, and hands-on support. Our services ensure everyone plays a role in building a cleaner, more sustainable future.
Education & Sensitization
To ensure faster adoption of the Greengo-hub Mobile App, there will be continuous education and sensitization within the local communities, especially the communities with high population density at periodic times. The traditional and social media channel of communication will be part of the mix of our communication strategy to engrain best practices and attitudinal change towards waste.
Advocacy
Our advocacy will be strongly hinged on the Greengo-Hub to create awareness among the identified key waste generators, waste collectors, waste aggregators and recyclers. The advocacy will be deeply detailed on all aspects of the platform for citizens to gain a deeper understanding. Greengo-hub ambassadorship will be conferred on all assemblymen and women in the various communities to advocate as a routine task to ensure a progressive success of the platform.

The advocacy shall be followed by training. The training will be well organized to engage all the key stakeholders that are critical to the success of the Greengo-Hub. The training shall include the following:

To intensify our efforts towards making the mobile App a household name and also increase the rate of plastic collection and other recyclable waste, we will partner international NGO’s and the Government to build and install Greengo-hubs within the communities where households would go to exchange their plastic waste for cash. This will create employments and intensify competition among the main stream waste collectors. The hubs will be built with recyclable waste materials

What do I need to become part of the Greeng-hub movement?
You can register as a waste generator or collector when you download the App
How can it improve my livelihood?
Since waste is a source of raw material and are sold back to the manufacturers, so every waste saved and weighed grows your Greengokoins which will then be converted into cash.
What is the economic benefit of the Greengo-hub Movement?
It creates employment, saves government spending on sanitation and waste management, clean environment, improves tourist attraction, reduces the price of the end-product, saves energy and C02.
What is Greengokoin?
A Greengokoin is a point you accumulate when your recyclable waste weight corresponds with the approved expected weight unit. Please refer to our Greengokoin Charts.

They are Individuals, households, Residential homes, Industry, Shops, Institutions and Bola Taxi, Organization.
Who are the recyclable waste generators?
They are those who generate wastes as a result of their consumptions and purchases
What do I need to collect the wastes?
Purchase all or some of the items in our branded Greengo Kits.
How do I manage the waste I generate?
You need to segment the waste into the following categories; paper/tetrapack/cardboards, Plastic, electronic, metal, organic, bottle
What do I gain from segregating my waste?
It enables you to get the accurate weight value to grow your Greengokoin for the right value.
Where do I redeem my Greengokoin?
You can only redeem your Greengokoin from the collectors who have adequate cash balance to trade with you.
How do I redeem my Greengokoin?
Redeeming of your Greengokoins is instantaneous through the App.
Who are the recyclable waste collectors?
They are those who move around to pick-up the segregated wastes with their borla taxi/tricycles or hand.
What do I need to collect the waste?
Please visit our online shop to purchase any of our branded Greengo-kits.
Do I need to be trained?
Yes! You will be trained on how to use the Greengo App, weigh and record the value.
When and where do I go to collect the waste?
Your customers (waste generators) will schedule his/her pickups and notify you through the App and so you need to be active online during your operations.
Where do I deliver the waste?
Geographical location will be earmarked as aggregation points for all the recycled wastes.
How much do I need to trade on the reusable materials?
You only need a minimum of ghc 50.00 in a special wallet called Greengo-Hub Bank where generators can debit your account in order to credit their account directly. Without it, you can not trade.
